Sorry again

Hey everyone!

So I really am sorry for not posting, well, I do post every once in a while, but it really is hard to keep up with this blog and my main blog. But yes, the deer animal should be coming out very soon! I really cant wait! And winter is in Jamaa!

I really miss Amy.. This blog was the thing that got me into blogging. I miss her more then I could imagine, hopefully she will return to the blog!

Hi everyone!

So I know I was supposed to post every other week or whenever, but I seen to have not posted in a while. Uhg. It just slips my mind! I usually have enough time to post, I just don't think about it. I have a pretty full life, if you know what I'm talking about.

So, enough about my life. Animal Jam time! I have not been getting on AJ as much as I normally do, again full life thing, but I still fit in every day or two. Not too much going, a sweet new Wind Armor set for sale in the Diamond Shop, worth checking out! Some fun stuff going on with Adventures, renovating, and a pawsome new adventure! I love then new adventure, Cosmos Quest! Heh, but if you are used to the old map of the adventure map, then you may get lost, like I did XD.
SO. Tons of cool stuff on Animal Jam going on! If you have not been on in a while, you should get on Right. Now! Well, whenever you can of course.

Amy's Animal Jam News' Flash Mob!

Hey everyone! Since my last party was cancelled, i think i will have another event!

Introducing: The first ever Animal Jam Flash Mob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is a Flash Mob?
Well, I found an example! This commercial shows a flash mob doing a dance at a train station. The only problem is the guy doesn't get the message that the mob has been moved to 12:30, so he ruins it by showing up too early. Hopefully that won't happen!

Anyways, so for this particular flash mob, I'm thinking we should all meet in my den and then go to Jamaa Township for the real thing!

Here's what we'll do for the flash mob!
We'll all go to Jamaa Township.
We start hopping.
We all line up in a certain order (we'll figure this out when we meet in my den, since i don't know how many people will attend)
We all say our word.

Example:

Let's say we get 5 people for the flash mob (i hope there will be more!), Bob, Joe, Kayla, Stan, and Frederick.
They will all go to Jamaa Township and line up in the order i just listed them in.
Here's what they will say:
Bob: Amy's
Joe: Animal
Kayla: Jam
Stan: News!
Frederick: :)

See? I hope it will look cool! But if we end up getting, say, 7 people, we'll have to readjust our words.

For this contest, your mission is to make something, anything, that has to do with bats!

You could draw a picture! Make a movie! Take a picture of a real bat! Write a poem or story! Make a Bat-Mobile! The possibilities are endless! You might ask: Why bats? Well, i just think they are cool, and they are very Halloweeeny!

Pink Attack!

Hello Jammers! So today i was getting onto AJ, and it was taking fooorrrrreeeevvvveeeerrrr to load! But when i got to Jamaa Township, i found out the reason.
There were people everywhere! And they were all pink!
It was really weird. They said they were supporting cancer awareness. I think that's really nice that they care so much:) But then people started arguing. Some people, me included, thought that purple shows awareness too. Others thought it was only pink. I tried to explain that pink supports awareness of only 1 type of cancer, whereas purple supports awareness of ALL cancers. No one would listen to me:( Oh well. It's the thought that counts:)

Hey everyone! Looks like i made it through Frankenstorm safe and sound! The power didn't even flicker:) I just wanted to say that hopefully i will be posting more often now that sports are over! Also, i'm thinking about making a Halloween contest! Check back later for details!

My Anniversary!

Hey everyone! I was just thinking that around this time last year, i joined AJ!
Ok, i just went and checked, and TODAY is my anniversary! Creepy, right? Wow i'm a good guesser:)
Anyways, i'm really happy to have found AJ and started this blog. It's nice to share my knowledge with you, and i really enjoy AJ. I hope that i'll still be on AJ next year for my 2nd Anniversary!

Fun Times!

Hola mes amigos! I was bored today, so i decided to have a little fun! So i went to Jamaa Township and started talking to people in Spanish! I only knew a few phrases, "Me gusta pollo" (I like chicken), "me gusta el sacapuntas" (i like the pencil sharpener), and "me hablo slovakian" (i speak Slovakian). But it was still fun to see people's reactions! After a while, someone came to Jamaa Township who actually spoke Spanish, and they started talking to me. I couldn't understand them, so eventually i just shouted "Inodoro limpio" (toilet cleaner) and left. I came back a little while later and spoke in French, which i'm actually sort of fluent in. But i had a pretty fun time!
Want to make people think you speak a different language?
Here are a few simple steps to follow!
1. Find a place where there are lots of people! (Ex. parties, Jamaa Township, and Epic Den...)
2. Open another window and set up Google Translate*, so you can quickly translate things in and out of the language you are "speaking"!
3. In your Google Translate* window, type in funny phrases, like "shoe laces", "potato salad", "pretty ponies", or maybe even "rainbow yummy gummy bears"!
4. In your Animal Jam window, shout out these phrases (translated into your language of choice) to people!
5. Observe their reactions! Make funny faces! Hop around in a circle! The choices are endless!

Experiencing problems with this joke?
Here are common problems!
1. Someone thinks i have insulted them! What do i do?
    -Calmly tell them what you really said. This can kind of ruin the joke, but you can always go somewhere else and start over again.
2. People are accusing me of lying! They think i am not really speaking the language! What do i do?
    -This one is a little tricky. There really isn't a way to prove that you are actually speaking the language, unless you translate it word for word for the person. But don't worry, you are NOT lying! You are actually speaking the language!
3. I can't translate what someone said to me! Help!
    -Sometimes people say things to you back. They might actually know the language and might expect you to converse with them. But don't worry. If Google Translate* can't translate it (this happens sometimes), then just shout something random and leave. Works every time!

* Google Translate is a program that lets you type in a word or phrase and it will translate it to the language you chose. This is a really nifty tool, and it comes with many different language options. You can get to it by typing "translate" into google and clicking the first thing that pops up.
